Mänsklig faktor, (Below the belt) is a black comedy by playwright Richard Dresser that explores the darker aspects of the male psyche within the context of a dehumanizing workplace. The play showcases the poisonous nature of a nameless factory and its unnamed product, where three men engage in power struggles, backstabbing, verbal torture, jealousy, and a quest for revenge. Regardless of a man's personality, once placed within a hierarchical structure, scheming and competition naturally arise. It presents an opportunity for audiences to witness the detrimental effects of a dehumanizing workplace and the depths to which individuals can sink in pursuit of their own interests.
