"MOT" is both a film and an interactive experience that explores the theme of presence and loneliness. It delves into the complex emotions and experiences associated with being alone. The project aims to create a thought-provoking narrative that engages the audience and encourages them to reflect on their own relationship with solitude. Through the medium of film and interactive elements, "MOT" offers a unique exploration of the human condition and the various ways in which we seek connection and meaning in our lives.

The film "MOT" explores the concept of presence and seeks to study it without judgment. We place the unaware actor in different environments, situations, and activities to observe what happens to his own experience of presence and how it is perceived from the outside. He receives ongoing conditions that he improvises with in front of the camera. The experiment aims to frustrate, distract, encourage, suggest, and manipulate to see what happens to the experience of presence. We do not do retakes or repetitions but instead seek the immediate unplanned reaction. We also ask ourselves questions such as how do we know that we are present, can we strive for it, and why should we? What do we want to achieve?

Based on the short film, Teater InSite and the gestalt therapist Eva Wendt have created an interactive experience, focusing on individual experiences in the collective encounter. Through a genuine search for authentic presence, each experience of "MOT" is unique. The conversations between the actors alternate between improvised dialogues, staged actions, and intuitive reactions.
