Resonans is a bittersweet experience in headphones. In the performance that plays out I an apartment, you become a fly on the wall and get a close-up experience of a person's strategies for coping with their loneliness. Resonans is a performance where 3D audio and scenic improvisation come together. Sound designer Tim Bishop and director Eva Wendt have co-created a concept, a spatial audio play, where contact and distance are the focus. In TP's residence, you are invited into her innermost thoughts about the life she has come to live. Is loneliness the price she pays for her freedom and independence? Her longing for connection and closeness sometimes has tragically comedic effects that resonate within her relationships.
